Soon after Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia announced three AAP nominees for the Rajya Sabha election scheduled on January 16, former senior AAP leader Yogendra Yadav launched attack against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Yadav took to Twitter and wrote that he was ashamed, having defended Arvind Kejriwal against the charges of corruption by Kapil Mishra.

He wrote, “I used to say, whatever his other faults @ArvindKejriwal cannot be bought. Defended him against Kapil Mishra’s allegations. Now I don’t know what to say. Speechless, ashamed and numb.”

Another former senior leader of AAP, Prashant Bhushan lashed out at Kejriwal by accusing AAP of giving tickets to those having no expertise to qualify for Rajya Sabha.

Bhushan wrote “AAP giving Rajya Sabha tickets to people who have not distinguished themselves in public service & have no expertise on anything to qualify for the RS, by ignoring the voices of volunteers, is the final denouement of a party which started with such promise & is now totally degenerate”.
