New Delhi: Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi has send a ‘Chadar’ to the Bareilly Sharif Dargah to pay her respects. The Dargah of Ala Hazrat is celebrating its 101st annual ‘Urs’ ceremony.
The Congress in a release on Wednesday said: “Congress President Sonia Gandhi met a delegation led by All India Minority Congress Chairman Nadeem Javed to handover the ‘Chadar’ to be presented at Bareilly Sharif Dargah (Dargah-e-Ala Hazrat) for 101st year annual Urs ceremony on October 23, 2019.”

Senior leaders of the Congress party, including former Union Minister Salman Khurshid were also present on the occasion.
Sonia Gandhi had earlier also sent a ‘Chadar’ to the Ajmer Sharif dargah.
