Valentine’s day outrage: Husband catches wife with lover, public thrashing caught on camera

Hapur | Chaos unfolded on Meerut Road in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district on Valentine’s Day when a man reportedly caught his wife red-handed with her alleged lover. What began as a heated confrontation in the middle of the road quickly escalated into a violent physical altercation, drawing a massive crowd and bringing traffic to a standstill.

Public Brawl and Commotion
As the argument intensified, the husband’s relatives joined in and cornered the alleged lover. Infuriated by the discovery, the husband and his family members began physically assaulting the man. The situation spiraled out of control as punches and kicks were traded in full public view. The brawl caused a significant disruption on the busy Meerut Road, resulting in long vehicular queues and widespread panic among commuters.

Police Intervention
Upon receiving reports of the disturbance, a police team from the Hapur Nagar Kotwali reached the spot. Officers had to struggle to separate the clashing parties and pacify the agitated onlookers. After considerable effort, the police managed to disperse the crowd and restore the smooth flow of traffic on the highway.

Parties Taken into Custody
Eyewitnesses recorded the entire episode on their mobile phones and the footage has since gone viral on social media. The videos show police officers intervening to control the situation before escorting the husband, wife, and the alleged lover into a police vehicle. Taking swift action, the police have registered a case against all three parties under relevant sections for disturbing public peace (breach of peace). The incident has become a major talking point across the city.
