Two Kerala High Court officials suspended for derogatory content against PM Modi in play

Kochi | Kerala Chief Justice A. J. Desai has directed two officials of the High Court to be suspended with immediate effect after complaint surfaced that a stage show, performed as part of the Republic Day celebrations, portrayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the nation in bad light.

The suspended officials include T.A.Sudhish ( Assistant Registrar higher grade) and P.M.Sudheesh ( Court Keeper) .

The stage show took place at the High Court auditorium as part of the this year’s Republic Day celebrations.

The Chief Justice has now asked the Registrar ( Vigilance) for a detailed report and the Registrar ( Administration) to submit a detailed explanation into the circumstances on how this incident took place.

The complaint from pro-BJP groups was against the play titled ‘One nation, One Vision, One India’, staged by the High Court employees.
