Mumbai:  “Pranaam” starring Rajiv Khandelwal will be out next month, and its first song is slated to be released on Wednesday, producer Rajnish Ram Puri said.

After the super hit “Kaise Hua” from film “Kabir Singh”, Manoj Muntishir and Vishal Mishra have now composed another melodious song, “Sirf Tu”, depicting the romance between Rajiv and Sameksha, he said.

Written by Muntishir and composed by Mishra, the song is sung by Armaan Malik.

“Pranaam” is directed by Sanjiv Jaiswal and its producers are Puri, Anil Singh and Nitin Mishra. It also features actors Atul Kulkarni, Abhimanyu Singh and Vikram Gokhale in important roles.

“We have worked hard to make this film, which will be definitely loved by the audience,” Puri said.

About the film’s theme, the producer said: “Rajiv Khandelwal, who has ruled the hearts of people with his performances in hits like ‘Aamir’ and ‘Table number 21’, is playing the role of the son of a peon in this film. He wants to fulfill his father’s dream of becoming an IAS officer. But fate has other plans, hence turning an innocent boy into a renowned gangster.”

Southern film actress Sameksha is female lead with Rajeev in the film which has been shot entirely in Uttar Pradesh and local artists Udayvir Singh, Gaanesh Pandit, Saif and Yogesh will also be seen in it along with popular Bollywood artists.

Made under the banner of Rudraksh Adventures Pvt. Ltd, “Pranam” will be released on August 9 over 1,400 screens nationwide, its makers said.
