Shocking Crime in Kanpur: Man Slits Throats of Twin Daughters

KANPUR | In a deeply disturbing incident that has sent shockwaves across the city, a man allegedly killed his two 11-year-old twin daughters in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur on Sunday morning. The brutal crime, reported from the Trimurti Apartment in the Naubasta area, has left residents in disbelief.
According to the police, information about the crime was received around 4:30 a.m. via UP-112. The caller reported that a man had killed his two daughters in the Naubasta police station area. Acting swiftly, senior police officials reached the spot and assessed the situation.
Upon entering the house, the police found the bodies of both girls lying inside. The accused father was present at the scene and was immediately taken into custody. He is currently being interrogated to ascertain the motive behind the gruesome act.

Considering the seriousness of the incident, a dog squad and forensic team were also called to the spot. Both teams conducted a thorough examination of the crime scene and collected crucial evidence. Police officials stated that the case is being investigated from all possible angles and no aspect will be overlooked.
The bodies of the victims have been taken into custody, and after completing legal formalities, they have been sent for post-mortem. The report is expected to provide more clarity regarding the exact cause and timing of death.
