NEW DELHI: A horrific incident has sent shockwaves through the national capital as a woman and her three children were found murdered in the Samaypur Badli area on Wednesday morning. Delhi Police have confirmed the quadruple homicide and initiated a high-level investigation.
The Samaypur Badli Massacre
According to the preliminary investigation, the husband—who works as a distributor in Azadpur Mandi—is the prime suspect in the quadruple murder. He has been absconding since the incident came to light.
The police have taken custody of the bodies and sent them for a post-mortem examination. While a massive manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding husband, the exact motive behind the brutal killings remain unknown.

Body Found in Car at Mayur Vihar Mall
In a separate incident that occurred on Tuesday, a man’s body was recovered from a Honda City car parked in the basement of Star City Mall in Mayur Vihar. The discovery was made around 8:00 AM when mall employees noticed that the vehicle had been stationary since the previous night.
Upon inspection, the car’s windows were found to be rolled up with no movement inside. When the door was opened, the man was found unresponsive and was later declared dead.
The Mayur Vihar police team, which arrived shortly after, stated that there were no immediate signs of a struggle inside the vehicle. While authorities are considering carbon monoxide poisoning (asphyxiation) or suicide as potential causes, they have not ruled out foul play. The final cause of death will be determined once the post-mortem report is released.
