PM Modi wore N-95 mask ‘Swasa’ developed by IITKanpur during his Ayodhya visit

Kanpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Ayodhya visit on Wednesday strictly followed COVID-19 protocols. He not only wore a face mask but also maintained social distancing.
He was noticed wearing mask althroughout the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony. The mask which he wore has been jointly developed by IITKanpur and its incubated company E-Spin Nanotech Private Limited.
Mask named ‘Swasa’ is a flagship product of E-Spin Nanotech and after PM Modi wore it, the team which has developed it is now on cloud nine.
The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), IITKanpur shared on its Facebook page the images of PM Modi wearing the ‘Swasa’ mask.
“Our team is delighted to have spotted Hon’ble @PMOIndia @narendramodi wearing Swasa N95 mask during #AyodhyaBhoomipoojan. Swasa N95 is produced by our portfolio startups Espin Nanotech @IITKanpur. It is a great testimony to the quality & potential of Indian startups & innovations”, SIIC wrote on Facebook.
When contacted Sandip Patil, Director, E-Spin Nanotech Private Limited , he said, “It is a moment for pride for all of us at IITKanpur that Swasa was worn by our PM Narendra Modi.”
He further said that Swasa is highly effective mask for protection from COVID-19 virus.
