Nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni-5 successfully test-fired

India on Sunday successfully test-fired nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni-5 from Dr Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast. The missile has been indigenously built and has a strike range of 5,000 km which can reach several parts of China.

According to news agency ANI, the missile was tested at 9.48 am from launch pad number four. This was sixth successful test launch of nuclear capable Agni-5 missile.

The Agni-5 missile is the most advanced. This missile is part of the Agni series of missiles.
