Chhindwara | A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. Here a man allegedly killed eight members of his family. After committing the crime he too ended his life.
According to a report by IANS, a tribal person under Mahuljhir police station area killed eight members of his family by chopping them with an axe. The accused first killed his wife, then he murdered his mother, sister, brother and sister-in-law and two nieces. The crime was committed last night.
Superintendent of Police Manish Khatri while talking to mediapersons said that Dinesh killed eight members of the family by chopping them with an axe and then committed suicide. The accused is said to be mentally deranged. He got married some time ago.
After the incident, the dead bodies of the dead are lying in house. Police have reached the spot. The corpses are being sent for post-mortem examination. The incident has left people shocked. It is not yet clear why this crime was committed. The police are investigating the matter.
