Man finds rat inside bread packet delivered by Blinkit, Image goes viral

One such news has come to light which will for sure take you by surprise. A man named Nitin Arora has shared his ordeal on Twitter. Nitin claimed that he had ordered a packet of bread from the Blinkit app. When the packet was delivered to him, he was surprised to see that there was a mouse inside it. What shocked him the most was that the mouse was alive.

Nitin wrote, “Most unpleasant experience with @letsblinkit, where alive rat was delivered inside the bread packet ordered on 1.2.23. This is alarming for all of us. If 10 minutes delivery has such baggage, @blinkitcares I would rather wait for a few hours than take such items.#blinkit #zomato

Nitin also shared image of the bread packet. A mouse could clearly be seen in the photo shared by him. The image has gone viral.

The company has taken note of the incident and has apologised to Nitin. Blinkit wrote, “Hi Nitin, this is not the experience we wanted you to have. Please share your registered contact number or Order ID via DM for us to look into it”.

This incident has caught the attention of Twitter users who were quick to react. One user wrote, “As much as #EnglishOven and #Blinkit need to explain this. I wonder if our food safety authority actually audits these places time to time and checks for “Safety”.
