Lalu’s elder son Tej Pratap withdraws divorce petition

Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap who had filed for divorce from his wife Aishwarya Rai, has withdrawn the divorce petition. Tej who had married Aishwarya six months ago had stunned his family and friends when he had moved Patna’s family court to end his marriage.
Ever since Tej had filed for divorce, his family had been persuading him to patch up with Aishwarya and move ahead in life. He was also under pressure from his family to settle the matter. He had left home shortly after filing divorce.
Compatibility issue was cited as the reason by Tej Pratap for filing the divorce petition. He had said that he had married under pressure from his parents and couldn’t adjust with Aishwarya since she came from a different background.
Aishwarya is daughter of senior RJD leader Chandrika Rai and granddaughter of former Chief Minister Daroga Rai.
The two had married in May this year.
