Kanpur girls outshone boys, bag top positions in Allahabad region of CBSE

Girls outshone boys in class X CBSE results announced on Tuesday. Three girls from Kanpur bagged second and third position in Allahabad region of CBSE and brougt laurels to their city.

Shubhangi Tiwari of Army Public School, Kanpur Cantt and Nandita Biswas of Delhi Public School, Kalyanpur branch were among four girls (in Allahabad region) who jointly bagged second position in the Allahabad region of CBSE. They also topped in the city. Both of them scored 98.8 per cent.

On the third position in the region and second position in the city was Isha Singh of Sir Padampat Singhania Education Centre (SPSEC), Kamla Nagar who scored 493 marks out of 500. She scored 98.6 percent. School principal Bhawna Gupta was all in praise of Isha.

All the three girls want to study at IIT for pursuing four year BTech course. In their class XI they would be opting for science stream with Physics, Maths and Chemistry as their subjects.

At DPS, Azad Nagar, Anushka Dwivedi and Vighya Awasthi both emerged as the school topper by securing 98% marks each.

Ishita Dwivedi of Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Shyam Nagar was also among the top 10 students who scored high. She scored 97.8 percent marks.

Students of Guru Nanak Modern School scored well. While Sonam Chauhan emerged as the school topper by securing 96% marks, Shraddha Bajpai and Anshika Shukla bagged 95% each and became second topper of the school.
