Indonesia: 22-foot long python swallows woman alive

In a very shocking news that has emerged from Indonesia, a woman in her mid fifties was swallowed alive by a giant 22-f00t-long python. According to Daily Mail, the incident took place when woman, identified as Jahrah had gone to woods to collect rubber from a plantation. The rubber plantation is located in Jambi region in Sumatra (Indonesia).

According to media report, Jarah was not traceable since Friday (21 October) night. She had set out to collect rubber from the nearby forest. When she went missing, her family members launched a frantic a search. Everyone was upset. She was nowhere to be found.

Till Sunday (October 23), Jahrah remained untraceable. In the meanwhile, people who were looking for Jahrah, sighted a giant python in the forest (the forest where Jarah had gone). They also noticed that the python’s stomach was bloated. People suspected something untoward. They killed the python and cut open its stomach to find out woman’s body inside. The Python had swallowed Jarah alive.

Officials said that no one had seen the python swallowing Jarah alive. It was suspected that the python had swallowed her. On this very logic people killed the python and recovered Jahrah’s corpse. The incident has created panic in the local area.
