Shocking ! Ex-Pradhan, Father of 18 Children, Murdered Over Illicit Affair

Pratapgarh (U.P.) | Former village head Gulhasan alias Munna, who had been missing for the past five days, was found murdered on Sunday. Police investigations revealed that the 50-year-old ex-pradhan was killed due to an illicit relationship. The killers brutally assaulted him and, in an attempt to destroy evidence, stuffed his body into a sack and dumped it in a canal.

Gulhasan, a resident of Mishrpur Mustarka under Mandhata police station, left home on March 18 riding his motorcycle but never returned. His family lodged a missing complaint, and on the third day, his abandoned bike was found near Mauaima, raising fears of foul play.

On Sunday morning, his body was recovered from the Sharda canal, about eight kilometers from his home.

When police examined the deceased’s call detail records, a woman’s number surfaced. She was the last person he spoke to. Taken into custody, the woman confessed during interrogation that she had an illicit relationship with Gulhasan. Frustrated with his behavior, she conspired with her brother and an associate to kill him.

ASP (East) Shailendra Lal stated that the accused beat Munna to death with a heavy object or rod. The victim leaves behind two wives and 18 children. Police have registered a case of murder, detained the woman, and launched a manhunt for the absconding accomplices.
