Decaying body of a man found in servant quarter of Rashtrapati Bhavan

A decaying body of a man was found in the servant quarter of Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday night, news agency ANI reported. The body is reportedly two to three days old and had been roting.
The deceased worked at President’s Secretariat.

The deceased was identified as Trilok Chand who was a resident of Gandhi Nagar in Delhi. He had recently come to stay in the servant quarter.
Unable to bear the foul smell, the neighbours informed the police. ANI quoted Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) as saying that the room was locked from the inside and that the man was alone.
DCP said that it appears to be a case of natural death and that the man was ailing.
Further investigations are underway.
