Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba wins Jamnagar North seat

Rivaba Jadeja, wife of Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has won from the Jamnagar North seat (Gujarat). She contested the Gujarat assembly election on BJP ticket. She has defeated her nearest rival Aam Aadmi Party candidate Karshanbhai Karmur by a margin of over 50,000 votes.

According to ECI, Rivaba got 84,336 votes. AAP candidate Karshanbhai Karmur secured 33,880 votes. On the third spot was Congress candidate Bipendrasinh Chatursinh Jadeja. He got 22,822 votes.

2,367 voters opted for NOTA in Jamnagar North constituency meaning they did not vote for anyone.
