Team India defeated Bangladesh by five runs in a thrilling T20 World Cup match on Wednesday (November 2). While chasing the target of 185 runs, Bangladesh team was leading in the game till the seventh over but as soon as the downpour started the match had to be stopped.
But when the rain stopped, Bangladesh were given a revised target by applying the DLS method. At this stage of the match, Bangladesh were to score 151 runs in 16 overs. Bangladesh’s team had already scored 66 runs in 7 overs and they were in need of 85 more runs. The team had to achieve this target in 54 balls, but Bangladesh’s wickets kept falling one after the other and this kept the pressure ticking. In the end, the team India won.
As soon as the Men in Blue conquered the match, the Bangladeshi players and their fans got disappointed.
