Ukrainian woman MP poses with Kalashnikov rifle, says “Our women will protect our soil like our men”

At a time when Russia has launched ‘military operation’ against Ukraine and Ukrainian forces are trying to defend their motherland, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is urging the US and NATO to provide his country with the weapons to fight out the Russian aggression.

Now, Ukrainian Member of Parliament, Kira Rudik has posted an image of herself holding a Kalashnikov rifle and vowing to fight against the Russian attack on her soil.

Rudik has given a strong message to the Russian forces that her country will not give up to their aggression.

Her image has already garnered worldwide attention and Twitter users are now backing her up and praising her for her valour.

While posting her image Kira wrote, “I learn to use #Kalashnikov and prepare to bear arms. It sounds surreal as just a few days ago it would never come to my mind. Our #women will protect our soil the same way as our #men. Go #Ukraine!”

Her image while holding the advanced rifle has garnered 114.5K likes.
