India Captain Virat Kohli has become the first batsman to score 20,000 runs in international cricket in a decade.

30 year old Kohli has hit 68 hundreds and is now 32 centuries behind master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Kohli scored his 43rd century against West Indies in the second ODI of the series.

India defeated WI by six-wickets in the second ODI taking lead by 2-0.

At one time it had appeared that Sachin’s record of 100 centuries was an unbreakable record.

Kohli has aggregated 20502 runs across all 3 formats out of which he has scored 20018 runs in the current decade.
