Woman’s father-in-law chops off man’s genital when he tries to force himself on her
Kanpur : A man chopped off the genitals of a 25-year-old youth when he allegedly tried to rape his daughter-in-law. The shocking incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district.
Arun Kumar is now recovering in Lala Lajpat Rai hospital where his condition has been stated to be stable post surgery. Police said that the woman’s father-in-law Ram Snehi along with one other man used a razor to bobbitise the youth.
Police said that Arun’s genital was cut-off completely and that he was admitted in city’s LLR hospital for treatment. The police further said that woman’s father-in-law wanted to teach Arun a lesson of his life since he was stalking his daughter-in-law for past sometime.
On Wednesday night, Arun made an attempt to molest the woman while she was on way to her father-in-law’s potato field. The woman raised an alarm.
On hearing cries, woman’s father-in-law and his younger brother came rushing in. They first thrashed Arun and later, Ram Snehi cut Arun’s genitals using a razor, the police said.
The police have registered a case against Ram Snehi under section 326 of IPC. Snehi was arrested on Thursday, while the other person is on run, police said.
