Uttar Pradesh : Three railway workers run over by train

Three railway gang-men were run-over were run over by Kolkata-Amritsar Akal Takth express near Sandila in Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. They were drilling on the tracks when the incident took place. According to news agency IANS, four railway gangmen were killed in the mishap.




Quoting a Northern Railway Official, news agency ANI reported that three gangmen were drilling on the rails without taking any prior block were reportedly run over by Kolkata-Amritsar Akal Takth express between Sandila and Umartali stations at about 11:55 am on Monday.

Railway officials have rushed towards the site and an inquiry has been initated, ANI reported.
