Unnao Case: Woman gangraped, FIR lodged, four nabbed

A day after a video of a woman being molested and harassed by some men went viral, Unnao police swung into action and arrested three men identified as Vimal, Aakash and Rahul. One other accused was nabbed on Saturday. Two other men are still on the run. The woman alleged that she was gangraped.
News agency ANI reported that the fourth accused of the case has been arrested.

The youths were seen in the video asking woman for sexual favours. The woman could be seen pleading for mercy and begging for help, asking her tormentors to let her go but to no avail.
They also threatened her that they would make the video viral if she did not fulfil their wish. The youths could also be seen hurling abuses.
The police said that they would soon arrest the absconding men. “A named FIR against six and some unidentified men involved in the crime has been registered at Gangaghat police station. FIR has been lodged under various sections of IPC including 376 B. While four men have been arrested, two youths are on the run.We will nab them soon”, said a police official.
He also said that the medical examination of the woman has been conducted and report is awaited.
The police further mentioned that the video is more than two months old and had been shot in a forested area in Gangaghat in Unnao.
