Tweeple remember Sushma Swaraj on her birth anniversary
New Delhi: Sushma Swaraj, the former External Affairs Minister and senior BJP leader who died last year in August, was on her birthday by her husband, political leaders and Tweeple across the country.
Twitterati took to social media to pay her a tribute and wish former External Affairs Minister late Sushma Swaraj who had altered the course of Indian diplomacy and foreign affairs, both on the ground and on social media as well.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on her birth anniversary and tweeted, “Remembering Sushma Ji. Her husband Swaraj Kaushal took to Twitter to remember the occasion and also uploaded a picture of his beaming wife, with a knife in hand, and a cake in front of her. He wrote, “Happy birthday ! @SushmaSwaraj – the joy of our lives.-Bansuri Swaraj @governorswaraj”

In a solemn tribute to the invaluable contribution of former External Affairs Minister late Sushma Swaraj to Indian diplomacy, the government on Thursday renamed the Pravasi Bhartiya Kendra in New Delhi as Sushma Swaraj Bhawan and Foreign Service Institute as Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service.
