Six people were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district on Tuesday morning.

The police said that the accident took place at around 4 am on Tuesday near Shahpur Mod (Cut) of Chhapar police station area of ​​Muzaffarnagar. The deceased were identified as Shivam, Parsh, Deepak Sharma, Kunal, Dheeraj and Vishal.

The victims were en route to Haridwar from Delhi when the incident occurred.

According to the police, around 4 in the morning (police) control room received information regarding the accident. After this the local police reached the spot took the victims to district hospital, where doctors declared them dead. All the deceased are residents of Shahdara in Delhi.

Circle Officer (CO) Vinay Gautam said that the speeding Ciaz car went out of control and rammed into the moving truck from behind, due to which all the six youths traveling in the car died on the spot.

The officer said that the bodies have been sent for postmortem examination. The police are investigating the case.
