Six jawans martyred in IED blast in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada

In one of the deadliest attacks on the security forces, six security personnel were killed on Sunday when Maoists detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district, news agency ANI quoted Sunder Raj P, DIG Anti-Naxal Operation on Dantewada as saying.
6 jawans dead, 1 injured according to preliminary investigation. Search operation is being held by security forces. The jawans belonging to the Chhattisgarh Armed Force and the District Force were travelling through Cholnar village in a police vehicle when it blew up.
ANI further reported that one jawan was injured. Search operation has been launched by the security forces.
Troops of CRPF rushed to the spot.
