Shraddha Walkar’s father’s DNA matches with dismembered bones recovered from Mehrauli forest

The DNA of Shraddha Walkar’s father has matched with the dismembered bones which were retrieved from South Delhi’s Mehrauli forest area. This has been confirmed by Central Forensic Science Laboratory report. Delhi Police has also received a detailed report of Aftab’s polygraph test.
Shraddha had been allegedly murdered by her live-in partner Aftab Ameen Poonawalla on May 18. After this, Poonawalla had allegedly chopped off body into 35 parts and then stored them in a refrigerator. Later, he disposed off these parts in jungles of Mehrauli (Delhi).
Police arrested Aftab on November 12. He is currently lodged in Delhi’s Tihar jail.
