SC refuses to stay swearing-in of BS Yeddyurappa

The Supreme court has refused to stay the swearing-in ceremony of BJP’s BS Yeddyurappa as Karnataka Chief Minister, reports ANI. Yeddyurappa is set to take oath as the CM of Karnataka at 9 am on Thursday.

ANI reported that the three-bench of Supreme court refused to stay swearing-in ceremony of BS Yeddyurappa. ANI further reported that the Supreme Court did not dismiss the petition filed by Congress and Janta Dal (Secular) by saying that this petition is a subject of hearing later on.
