Policeman’s rifle snatched at Kashmir University

Srinagar :  Unknown men on Wednesday snatched the service rifle of a policeman at the main gate of Kashmir University in Srinagar district.

Rifle snatched from a guard post at Kashmir University near Rumi Gate which was deployed at university on deputation from Armed Police.Area being searched. Suspects are being identified.@JmuKmrPolice

Police sources said the policeman was posted at the university in Hazratbal area. “Searches have been started to locate the men,” a police officer said.
