Mecca Masjid case judge resigns after verdict
Hyderabad : Hours after acquitting all five Hindu activists accused in the 2011 bomb blast at the historic Mecca Masjid here left nine worshippers dead, special NIA court judge Ravinder Reddy on Monday tendered his resignation.
Reddy, who is the fourth Metropolitan Sessions Judge, cited “personal reasons” in his resignation letter sent to the Chief Justice of the Hyderabad High Court, said informed sources.
There was no information if his decision was linked to the verdict.
