Lalu granted a five day parole for attending son’s wedding

Jailed Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) supremo and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav has been granted a five-day parole from May 10 to May 14 for attending his elder son’s wedding, reported news agency ANI. The marriage is scheduled to take place in Patna on May 12.
Lalu’s son Tej Pratap Yadav is getting married to Aishwarya Rai on May 12. Aishwarya is grand daughter of former Bihar chief minister Daroga Prasad Rai. Tej Pratap and Aishwarya got engaged in a ceremony at Hotel Maurya in Patna on April 18.
Lalu is currently undergoing treatment at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi after he was brought here from the AIIMS in New Delhi on May 1. He has been convicted in four fodder scam cases.
