UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday lost his cool when he faced protest by the angry locals and the parents of the children killed in an accident in Kushinagar. While he tried addressing the agitated crowd who had gathered in several hundreds, the sloganeering did not stop.

The aggrieved family members kept shouting slogans even in Adityanath‘s presence. It was at this point of time, Yogi reportedly lost his cool. He asked the crowd to stop ‘Nautanki’ and that this is a sad occasion. “This is a sad event. Stop raising slogans. I am telling you now. Take a note of it. Stop this Nautanki (theatrics)”, Yogi said while addressing the gathering.

The video of CM Yogi threatening those raising slogans against the government and the railways went viral on the social media and evoked angry reactions from the people. Journalist Prashant Kumar who had posted the video on Twitter, asked CM Yogi Adityanath to show some sympathy to the family of the deceased children.

Thirteen school children were killed and six others seriously injured on Thursday when a train hit their van at an unmanned railway crossing in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar.
