New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his predecessor Sheila Dikshit and Union Minister Sushma Swaraj cast their votes during the sixth phase of polling for Lok Sabha elections in Delhi on Sunday.

After casting his vote at the Transport Authority building in Civil Lines, Kejriwal urged the people to come out and vote in large numbers.

He also cautioned them against supporting those who indulged in the politics of “hatred” and blocked Delhi’s development.

Sushma Swaraj cast her vote at the N.P. Senior Secondary School in Aurangzeb Lane.

Sheila Dikshit and Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari, who are contesting from North East Delhi, were among the early voters, as was Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) East Delhi candidate Atishi.

The early voters also included BJP MPs from West Delhi and New Delhi, Pravesh Verma and Meenakshi Lekhi, both of whom are seeking a re-election.
