Lucknow | An Indian Air Force Jaguar fighter jet crashed in Kushinagar district in Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning but the pilot ejected safely.
The plane had taken off from the Gorakhpur Air Force station on a routine sortie. The pilot ejected on time and was reported to be safe.
The incident occurred in Hetimpir area.
The IAF has ordered a court of inquiry to probe the accident, an official spokesperson said.
