The ISCKON Radhakanta temple located in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka was allegedly attacked and vandalised by mob on Thursday evening.

According to news agency ANI, “ISKCON Radhakanta temple in Bangladesh’s Dhaka vandalised yesterday.”

The Voice Of Bangladeshi Hindus shared the visuals of the attack and appealed for help.

“The extremists are attacking the ISKCON temple in front of the police with “Nare Taqbir Allahu Akbar ” Slogans . Is this how they Celebrate Shab-e-Barat?”, Voice Of Bangladeshi Hindus said in their first tweet.

In their second tweet they said, “On the night of shab-e-barat, Extremists are again attacking the Wari Radhakanta #ISKCON temple in Dhaka. We are requesting to all the Hindus to play their role in protecting the temple.”

They also shared the visuals and vidoes of the alleged incident.

Meanwhile, Vice President and spokesperson of Iskcon India Radharaman Das took to Twitter to condemn the incident. He wrote, “It’s a very unfortunate incident that took place on the eve of Dol Yatra & Holi celebrations. Just a few days ago, the United Nations had passed a resolution declaring March 15 as the International Day to Combat Islamophobia.”

..2/3We r surprised that same United Nations is mute to the suffering of thousands of helpless Bangladeshi & Pakistani minorities. So many of the Hindu minorities have lost their lives, property, have been raped, but alas, all United Nations can do is to ponder upon Islamophobia, he further said.

..3/3..The conditions of Hindu minorities worldwide is very concerning, including India where Hindus r minorities. Hindus have to STOP looking towards namesake institutions like UN which is mute to the cries of Hindus: UN-mute @UN

More details are awaited.
