Four youths stabbed by rival group in Delhi restaurant, two critical

New Delhi :  Four youths were stabbed, two of them critically, during a brawl with another group in a south Delhi restaurant, police said on Sunday.

Akash, Praveen, D.K. and Vikas were partying around 9 p.m. on Saturday at the restaurant in Mehrauli’s Ward number 1 when they had a fight with Shikari and his accomplices, Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baaniya said.

Shikari and his friends stabbed Akash with knives. When his three friends tried to save him, they too were attacked. Accused Shikari, Deepak, Manish, Mohit and Roshan are at large.

Akash and Parveen are in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences’ Trauma Centre here.

Members of both the groups knew each other and are residents of Mehrauli’s Ward Number 2. They had a fight on Friday as well owing to some dispute.
