Former UP CMs Mulayam and Akhilesh vacate government bungalows

Former Chief Ministers Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday vacated their official residences in Lucknow in compliance with the Supreme Court orders.
News Agency ANI Tweeted – “Former Chief Ministers Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav vacate their official residences in compliance with the orders of the Supreme Court.”

The development comes days after the father-son duo had moved Supreme Court seeking proper time to vacate the government accomodation.
The Supreme Court earlier this month had said that former CMs cannot live in government accomodations.
