If you check CCTV footage, you will find who went to ladies toilet that night and who threatened whom”, Ashish said in a video message released minutes before he reached the court.
He further said that he took the gun with him for safety and that he did not brandish it. Ashish claimed that he did not even address the girl who pushed him and made obscene hand gestures.
He said that he has no history of police case against him and since he has faith in judiciary he decided to surrender.
Ashish was seen brandishing a gun at Delhi’s Hyatt Regency hotel, the video of which went viral. Pandey is seen pulling out a gun and threatening a woman at the hotel’s entrance. He is also seen hurling abuses. Pandey was seen accompanied by several women.
