Fight on prestigious Lucknow LS seat becomes triangular, Acharya Pramod to contest against Rajnath Singh

New Delhi: The Congress on Tuesday declared three more Lok Sabha candidates fielding Pankaj Sanghvi from Indore, Acharya Pramod Krishnam from Lucknow and Vinay Kumar Pandey from Kaiserganj. The party has so far declared 407 Lok Sabha candidates.
Acharya Pramod will have a direct contest with BJP candidate and Union Home minister Rajnath Singh. Also in the poll fray is Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha’s wife Poonam who is BSP-SP alliance candidate from Lucknow. This has made the poll fight triangular on this prestigious seat.
On Tuesday evening, Poonam Sinha had joined Samajwadi Party. Shae was inducted into the party by Dimple Yadav.
