Elder brother rapes his sister in Delhi
An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her elder brother in Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar, news agency PTI quoted police as saying. The rape accused is also a minor aged 12.
It was when the parents of the girl who are daily wagers, returned home in the evening that they came to know about the shocking incident. They noticed that their daughter was profusely bleeding from her private parts.

According to a police official, the survivor told a counsellor that her elder brother forced himself on her while their parents were away.
PTI quoted a senior police officer as saying that the police received information from a local hospital that a girl has been brought in who was bleeding profusely from her private parts.
The Chairperson of Delhi Commission For Women (DCW), Swati Maliwal had visited the rape survivor on Wednesday. In a statement issued by DCW that the girl sustained severe injuries and had to undergo a major operation in order to survive.
DCW shall be supporting the survivor financially and shall also be filing a case in the court seeking compensation for the victim.
A case has been registered at Adarsh Nagar police station and the accused has been sent to juvenile home.
