Cyclone Fani death toll is 64

Bhubaneswar: The death toll in the cyclone Fani has now been put at 64.
Puri district, which was the worst hit after the cyclone made landfall on May 3, accounted for 39 deaths, said Information and Public Relations Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh.
Nine deaths occurred in Khurdha district, six in Cuttack, four in Mayurbhanj and three each in Jaipur and Kendrapara, he added.
Of the 64 deaths, 25 died due wall collapse while 20 were crushed by uprooting trees, electic poles and hoardings, said a report of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC).
