UP CM Yogi Adityanath renames Faizabad as Ayodhya

 After renaming Allahabad as Prayag, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced renaming of Faizabad district as Ayodhya amid loud cheering from the crowd. The announcement was made by CM on the eve of Diwali. This according to the experts would give a further push to the Hindutva agenda of BJP.

Yogi also made announcement of a medical college after King Dashrath’s name. He also announced constructing a new airport in Ayodhya which will be named after Lord Ram.

Yogi said that the government was committed to the development of Ayodhya. He said that no injustice would be done with Ayodhya.

CM shared stage was South Korea’s first lady Kim Jung-sook.
