Man hiding in bed box at married woman’s place caught red-handed, this is what that happened next
A surprising incident from Babhangawa village under Purakalandar police station in Ayodhya has become the talk of the region. A man, who was caught inside the room of a married woman he was allegedly in a relationship with, ended up marrying her — not by force, but with the consent of her husband and family.
According to sources, Alim, son of Munir, visited the woman late at night. Villagers suspected him to be a thief but he managed to reach the woman’s room where she hid him under the bed. When family members and villagers grew suspicious and searched the bed, Alim was found hiding inside.
The woman’s father-in-law filed a complaint at Purakalandar police station. Both parties were then called for questioning. During the discussion, the woman expressed her wish to live with Alim. Her husband, who currently resides abroad, was informed and he gave consent to their marriage over a phone call. He even extended his best wishes to the couple. Respecting the woman’s choice, the father-in-law also agreed and submitted a written request to the police stating no desire for legal action.
Following this, in presence of villagers, the two were formally married. The incident has sparked widespread discussion in the area being seen as a rare example of mutual understanding and peaceful resolution.
