In a horrific incident, a class 9 student in Bihar was allegedly raped by 18 persons over the last eight months. The girl alleged on Friday that she was raped by her school principal, two teachers and 15 classmates. She said that she did not speak up against the crime fearing society.

The shocking incident has sent shockwaves to the people who have erupted in anger.

The girl was first gang-raped by three schoolmates in school lavatory in December 2017 who had also shot the video of the crime. Her classmates used to threaten her not to report the matter to anyone else they would make the video viral.

The alleged rapists, however, shared the video with other school friends, the FIR said. The video also reached a few teachers and the school principal. The girl alleged that she was blackmailed for sex.

According to the media reports the girl approached the school principal for help but instead of taking strict action against the guilty students, he also joined them in raping her. Two of her teachers also joined the principal in the crime, the girl alleged.

The girl who had approached police with her complaint on Friday narrated her ordeal. The police then arrested Uday Kumar alias Mukund Singh, the principal of the school in Saran district in Bihar, teacher Balaji and two minor students of the school, reported Hindustan Times.

According to media reports, the girl did not report the matter to the police earlier since her father was in jail.

HT quoted police superintendent Har Kishore Rai as saying that instead of approaching the police principal cautioned the girl to keep mum as it would otherwise bring disrepute to her and also to the school. Rai further said that the worse thing being that the principal called her one day after school and raped her in his chamber.

While an FIR has been registered against all the 18 persons, the Bihar police have started their investigation into the gory crime.
