Baba Ramdev launches ‘Kimbho’ messaging app rival to WhatsApp

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Wednesday launched a new messaging application named ‘KIMBHO’ under his flagship company Patanjali, reported News Agency ANI. The tagline of Kimbho is ‘Ab Bharat Bolega’. Reportedly, Kimbho application is touted to be competitor of popular messaging app WhatsApp.
Patanjali’s spokesperson SK Tijarawala tweeted, “Now Bharat will speak. After launching sim cards, Baba Ramdev has launched a new messaging application called Kimbho. Now Whats App will be given a competition. Our own #SwadeshiMessagingplatform. Download it directly from Google Play Store.”

Kimbho application has been launched three days (May 27) after Baba Ramdev had launched Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards, in alliance with BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited).
Initially, the Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards would be available to the employees and office bearers of Patanjali. According to reports, later people would be able to avail benefits of these SIM cards.
