Amethi: Smriti Irani is trailing behind Congress’ Kishori Lal Sharma

Amethi is one of the hottest seats not only in UP but in the entire country. BJP’s Smriti Irani is in poll fray from here. As per Election Commission of India, Kishori Lal Sharma is leading.
Smriti Irani is trailing by 62358 votes (As per ECI).
In the 2019 elections, Smriti defeated Rahul Gandhi from Amethi. This time Rahul is contesting from Rae Bareli instead of Amethi. Congress has placed their bet on Kishori Lal Sharma. Sharma is close confidante of Gandhi family.
