Indian Air Force jet crashes in Budgam in J&K

Srinagar : An Indian Air Force (IAF) jet crashed in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, 7 km from the Srinagar International Airport, police said, adding casualties were feared, IANS reported.
PTI quoted officials as saying, one person was killed as a body was seen near the site crash. The identity of the deceased could not be confirmed immediately.
The official said that the jet crashed in an open field near Garend Kalaan village of the Budgaam district at 10:05 am.
The Jet caught fire immediately after crashing. The fate of the pilots was not known immediately.
