India defeats West Indies by 6 wickets in 3rd T20I to win the series

India defeated West Indies by 6 wickets on the last ball of the third and the final T20I at MA Chidamabaram stadium in Chennai to grab the series 3-0. In the nail-biting match, Shikhar Dhawan who made 92 and Rishabh who scored his half-century gave Indian side an edge over the Indies despite hosts losing two crucial wickets.

A run was needed on the last ball of the match which Manish Pandey conceded to ensure that Indian side whitewashed the T20I series.

India recieved a huge blow when Dhawan got out when the team needed just one run of one ball remaining to win the match.

While chasing 182 runs, India lost skipper Rohit Sharma early (4) and KL Rahul (17) early. After this Pant and Dhawan took the charge and batted from the front ensuring India’s magnificient victory.
