West Indies all-rounder Ashley Nurse reveals who taught him ‘Babaji Ka Thullu’ pose

West Indies all-rounder Ashley Nurse has revealed that he celebrates his wickets by striking ‘Baba Ji Ka Thullu’ pose. Nurse also revealed that ex-Kings XI Punjab cricketer Sunny Sohal had had taught him the pose during the Caribbean Premier League.
Ashley had struck the same pose for the first time after dismissing Ambati Rayudu in the second ODI played in Vishakhapatnam.

Ashley Nurse was adjudged the Man of the Match for his 40 runs of just 22 balls and claiming two wickets. On receiving the Man of the Match Trophy, Ashley revealed about his unique celebration style and from whom did he learn this.
He made a ‘Baba Ji Ka Thullu’ pose when he dismissed opener Shikhar Dhawan who was looking strong at 35. Ashley could not hold himself back from celebrating the dismissal in the unique way and this caught the attention of the cricket buffs who were quick to react.
The other wicket which Ashley took was of Rishabh Pant.
