Agra youth breaks another Rubik’s Cube record
Agra : A B.Com student here has claimed to have set the world record for solving multiple Rubik’s cube blindfolded by solving 48/48 cubes in this condition.
With this feat, Shivam Bansal will enter the Guinness World Records again as an individual record (he is already there as a part of a team), his father Shailendra Bansal told IANS.
“Not just for the Taj Mahal, Agra should also be known for its talents and record holders.
“For those who don’t know, this involves first memorising 48 Rubik’s cubes scrambled and then putting on a blindfold on the eyes and solving all of them at a stretch without removing the blindfold and within one hour,” he said.
Last year, Shivam came first in Multiple blindfolded in the World Championship in Paris and became World Champion in it.
Shivam has broken two Asian Records and 19 National Records earlier. He got one silver medal in Asian Championship 2016 in China and two bronze medals in Asian Championship 2014 in Japan.
Having won more than 300 medals and trophies overall in different national and international Rubik cube competitions, he is currently studying for his B Com final year.
